California Vodka is a new brand of Vodka, to be sold exclusively in Southern California. The retro bottle and modern logo attracts a younger demographic, encompassing the look and feel of the inhabitants that live and drink socially in Southern California. It is a drink made by the people, for the people.
To draw in the larger population, I created branding standards, environmental placement and takeaways but focused on the target audience: Southern California residents, between the ages of 21-35 years old. The golden yellow, a natural choice for their company representing California, and bold vector mark contrasted nicely to portray the drinker’s outlook as edgy and modern, yet simple.
The bottle speaks for itself; it belongs on your counter while entertaining guest, on a shelf behind the bar, or in a bucket of ice, provided you can afford the luxury of bottle service.
